ASFC runs a child sponsorship program linking to programs from various overseas countries. We are currently managing the sponsorship of over 160 children from 4 countries. For further details on each of these countries please click on the links on the left.

Sponsorship monies go towards improving the living standards, health, nutrition and education of the sponsored child. Gifts are best sent in the form of some extra money with your sponsorship payment or can be posted or sent with people.... .

How does it work?

When you sponsor a child you will be provided with a report and photo of your child. Each year the organisation managing your child's program will send an updated report and generally a photo on your sponsored child. You are welcome to correspond with your child if you wish. Some sponsors prefer not to have contact with their child, and this too is perfectly acceptable. Correspondence should be kept brief and simple (for translation) and we recommend you register your letters. Gifts are best sent with people travelling to the country and must be small in size.
